LOVE OUR LUCKY LAD

WE met Bobby-Joe Luck, who was born with a condition called hydrocephalus — a build-up of fluid on the brain. He’s had three major brain operations. He was with us as team mascot a week or so back, before our home game with Leyton Orient and I dared him, for a £10 reward, to run to the Kop and take his shirt off to celebrate. No problem for Bobby-Joe. He’s seven years old. I think he gave us all a valuable dose of perspective.
