Letting rip! Lourdes is a chip off the old block
FOR outlandish fashion statements, her mother is a hard act to top.
But Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon took a fair stab at it yesterday when she walked down the runway at New York Fashion Week with unshaved legs, shown off in jeans that looked like they’d been ravaged by a plague of moths.
They were, of course, designed that way by the trendy label Gypsy Sport and Miss Leon, 21, wore them low enough to show off her black underwear.
Her minimalist top was equally striking – a chain body harness featuring an array of seashells including two serving as a bra. It allowed a perfect view of her tattoos, including a devil and her adopted sister’s name Mercy.
She also wore large green feathers in her hair and half-moon sunglasses.
Miss Leon is a proud advocate of body hair and has shown off her unshaved armpits before – exactly as her mother, now 60, did in the Eighties.
