How does Trinny get rid of cellulite? By paying £1,600 to be pinched for 50 minutes!

SHE admits that 50 minutes of intense pinching and prodding is painful, and that’s before you take the £1,600 bill into account.

But Trinny Woodall credits the bizarre treatment for getting rid of her cellulite and taking inches off her hips and waist.

The stylist is being treated at a clinic in London that charges £1,600 for ten 50-minute Body Remodelage sessions.

During the procedure, developed in France, the skin is pinched and massaged to boost circulation, which is claimed to reduce the development of cellulite and to have a toning effect.

Miss Woodall, 54, shared a 30minute video with her fans online of herself receiving the treatment, lying on a bed in her underwear.

The former What Not To Wear presenter said had she lost 3cm (1in) from her hips and 5cm (2in) from her waist since being treated at the clinic by Julien de Richeville, who she called ‘The Pincher’.

Mr De Richeville’s mother Martine invented the method and now has clinics in Paris, Brussels, Geneva, London, Madrid and New York.

Explaining why she has the procedure, Miss Woodall said: ‘Even though I’ve never been more comfortable in my weight in my life, I’m very aware that there’s a bit of cellulite.

‘I’m great in clothes but basically I have a long body and I have a slightly saggy bottom and I have short legs. So anything I can do to make the shape of my legs good makes me feel better.’

While Mr de Richeville pinched Miss Woodall’s stomach and legs with his thumbs and forefingers, she added: ‘What I didn’t say is that it’s quite painful.’

Acknowledging that not all of her fans could afford the treatment, Miss Woodall asked ‘The Pincher’ what people could do at home to recreate the effects.

He said: ‘The base of what we’re doing is circulation. So anything that can help with your circulation is most welcome.

‘The first thing you can do is just move. That’s the best thing you can do to your legs – just keep them moving and try to do as many steps as you can every day.’

Miss Woodall is a fan of unusual beauty treatments. She once revealed she had one in which blood is taken and spun in specialised machinery to separate the platelets. The plasma is then reinserted into the face with a needle.
