Surely the Scottish Tory leader understands that’s precisely the problem with the BBC — the idea that over-the-top salaries paid to men must be matched for their successors.
If Chris Evans’s replacement — man or woman — is paid even a quarter of his £1.6 million BBC salary it would be grossly obscene.
