asda launches its Nspa Expert Nightly Revitalising Retinol Capsules (£10 for 30 capsules) this week, making it the first supermarket to develop the vitamin a facial serum in capsule form.

Usually the preserve of premium brands (Elizabeth arden’s new Retinol Ceramide capsules cost £42 for 30), retinol encourages collagen and elastin production to leave you with smoother, younger-looking skin. Now you can feel its benefits at a fraction of the price.

asda is so confident the formula, which goes on sale on saturday, will reveal better skin that it’s promising a refund if you’re not happy after four weeks.
