Gretzky rather prompted the speculation by removing all photographs of Johnson from her Instagram account. Up next week, of course, is the event where all the wives and girlfriends are on parade. Will Paulina show up at the opening ceremony? Given her obvious love of the spotlight, if she misses out on that particular Paris catwalk it really will start tongues wagging — and generate a distraction the Americans could certainly do without.
