Serena Williams’s outburst, unsurprisingly the tennis authorities were asked for a breakdown of code violations, men to women. Unsurprisingly, it revealed what we all knew: far from being unfairly penalised, women receive considerably fewer penalties — 526 against 1,534 for men. So it was all nothing more than bogus selfjustification. No surprise there, either.
