BRAVEST ALBUM AT ALL

-

Like many young women, Olivia Rowlands is used to sharing the highs and lows of her life on social media.

in her case, the primary school teacher has a particularly moving story to document: at the end of last year, the 29-year-old newlywed was diagnosed with Stage 3 bowel cancer.

Gruelling treatment followed, including radiation which doctors told her would leave her unable to ever carry a child of her own.

Undeterred, prior to undergoing her lifesaving treatment, Olivia underwent surgery to harvest her eggs in the hope that she and her husband Sam would find a surrogate to help them realise their dream of starting a family.

This month, after being given the all- clear, the couple took the unusual step of launching an appeal to find the stranger they hope will carry their baby.

it is this indomitable spirit that has carried Olivia through her ordeal, which she faithfully recorded in a moving picture diary that shows every high and low with astonishing honesty . . .
