Solicitor General and old school chum Cerys
BBC radio presenter Cerys Matthews’s disclosure that she avoids playing records by privately educated musicians has amused the Solicitor General, Robert Buckland.
For the Tory MP, 49, attended the same £12,369a- year Welsh private school, St Michael’s, near Llanelli, as Cerys.
‘That is a risky road for her to take,’ Buckland says of Cerys’s comments. ‘She was a year below me. I did lots of singing at school, as did Cerys, but she made more of a success at it than me.’
