Airline misspells its own name…

AS typos go, they don’t come much bigger than this one on the side of an aircraft.

Even worse, the Hong Kong-based airline Cathay Pacific had misspelt its own name.

The firm was alerted after travellers spotted ‘Cathay Paciic’ on the jet at Hong Kong International Airport. It is now being repainted.

The company made light of it with a tweet saying ‘Oops’, prompting some in the industry to claim it was a PR stunt.
