Missing farmer: Four arrested
FOUR people were being questioned last night on suspicion of murdering a farmer who disappeared three months ago.
William Taylor vanished from his livestock farm on June 3, shortly before his 70th birthday.
Days earlier, his Land Rover was torched in a grain store at the property, Harkness Hall Farm near Hitchin, Hertfordshire.
Yesterday, police revealed they had arrested a 52-year-old woman and three men aged 18, 22, and 53 on suspicion of murder, conspiracy and arson.
They also seached three properties thought to be their homes.
Investigators believe Mr Taylor could be the victim of a feud over his £1.2million farm estate.
