Farfetch £4.2bn float
lUxUrY online fashion retailer Farfetch is set to be valued at £4.2bn when it lists on the new York Stock exchange this week.
The london-based firm, which sells more than 880 luxury brands, has raised its expected price range to between £3.7bn and £4.2bn amid strong demand.
Farfetch has now set a price range of £13 to £14.50 ($17 to $19) per share compared with a £11.40 to £13 ($15 to $17) price put forward earlier this year.
it was founded in 2008 by entrepreneur Jose neves and is co-chaired by natalie Massenet, the brains behind Farfetch rival net-a-Porter, which merged with italian firm Yoox in 2015 and is now the world’s largest online luxury retailer.
