Just how did David’s hair grow Beck?
FROM his mohawk and man bun to the gravity-defying quiffs of recent years, his hair has undergone many dramatic changes.
But in David Beckham’s latest striking transformation, his buzz cut appears to have become much thicker … just weeks after it appeared thin and patchy as he holidayed in Miami. The former England captain, 4 , was speaking at a press conference in Hong Kong when he revealed the darker hairstyle, which he teamed with a dark suit and a polka dot tie.
Over the past few months the retired footballer has tried out several styles after he grew his hair longer last year. At different points he has cut it significantly shorter, shaved off the sides, and styled the top strands into a small quiff.
Dr Asim Shahmalak, from the Crown hair transplant clinic in Manchester, said: ‘David Beckham’s hair does appear to be thicker than in the pictures of him in Miami a couple of weeks ago when he was showing clear signs of male pattern baldness.
‘It is impossible to say for certain but it does look like he has been using thickener in his hair to give the impression of having a fuller hairline.’
He said Wayne Rooney has also dyed his hair to make it look thicker – and perhaps disguise an earlier hair transplant.
