OH, WHAT CLASSY CO-STARS!

-

DISHEVELLED, impulsive, killer-obsessed M15 agent Eve Polastri is the antithesis of Jodie Comer’s slick, calculated Villanelle. Fans of medical drama Grey’s Anatomy will recognise Sandra Oh, 47 — born in Canada to Korean immigrants — who for ten years played Dr Cristina Yang on the series. ‘Killing Eve is the most deeply psychological piece I’ve done,’ she says. Earlier this year, she became the first Asian actress nominated for a Best Actress Emmy award for the series, already a huge hit in America. Like Jodie, Sandra says her greatest achievement is making her parents proud. She said. ‘It means a lot to my parents that I do the work that I do and it has the visibility.’

Sandra’s sidekick, David Haig, 63, has flown under the radar since his starring role in 1994 rom-com Four Weddings And A Funeral, in which he played Bernard. Here he plays Bill Pargrave, Eve’s M15 associate who joins her in her secret mission to track down Villanelle. David will feature in the upcoming Downton Abbey film.
