CIEREN FALLON, 19-year-old son of six-time champion jockey Kieren Fallon, rode his first winner on Plucky Dip at Leicester yesterday at odds of 25-1. The John Ryan-trained gelding won the Racing Excellence Hands And Heels Handicap by half a length from Peachey Carnehan. It was only the third ride in Fallon Jnr’s career. He is based with Newmarket Derby-winning trainer William Haggas.
