Killer’s 99% on psychopath test
THE Westminster Bridge terrorist had murderous urges throughout his life and scored 99.4 per cent on a psychopath scale, a psychiatrist said yesterday.
Brock Chisholm said Khalid Masood, 52, was egocentric, had a callous disregard for others and possessed grandiose selfimportance. The psychiatrist believes Masood was radicalised by the end of 2004 – 12 years before the atrocity.
‘Masood believed he was more intelligent than other people,’ said Dr Chisholm. ‘He enjoyed dominating people and viewed himself as special in the eyes of God ... indeed, like a genius.
‘He believed he was extraordinary and believed this since he was a child. When this was threatened he behaved in a way that masked that. When he didn’t get into grammar school he blamed his mother for this.’
Dr Chisholm concluded ‘with a fairly high degree of confidence’ that Masood was a psychopath with the 99.4 per cent score.
