TOUR THE SEAWORLD

The SeaWorld Parks are so varied, there’s something that will appeal to every family member

-

THERE’S so much to see and do – from spectacular marine animals and recordbreaking attractions at SeaWorld, to rare animals and wild thrill rides at Busch Gardens, not to mention a water-park lover’s paradise at Aquatica – it’s hard to know where to head first.

Plus, if you’ve ever wanted to swim with a dolphin, then look no further than Discovery Cove – the only place in Orlando that gives you that opportunity. You will get to watch in awe as these fascinating creatures jump and communicate, before you wade in deeper and hold on to a dorsal fin for an extraordinary ride like no other.

How about a trip to Antarctica without leaving Florida? Head to SeaWorld’s Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin which is home to five different species of penguin. Or, to add to the wealth of different animal adventures, there’s playful orangutans and majestic Bengal tigers in Jungala, and lions and hippos in Edge of Africa, both at Busch Gardens. Or take some time to meet the rescued sea turtles and manatees who are being nursed back to full health at SeaWorld… the choice is endless.

If you would prefer intrepid adventures and fancy trying white-water rafting, you can get an exhilarating rush at Busch Gardens’ Congo River Rapids – an expedition that requires skill and strength, but is the ultimate in waterbased fun. Or, for a gentler but equally colourful experience, you can swim and snorkel your way through a stunning habitat filled with tropical fish at The Grand Reef at Discovery Cove.

For true thrill seekers, there are rides and slides that will live on in your memory. A must try is the immense Falcon’s Fury at Busch Gardens – a 335ft drop tower that plunges down at 60mph and pivots at 90 degrees – or Mako at SeaWorld, Orlando’s tallest, fastest, longest and only hypercoaster.

Your trip to the SeaWorld Parks wouldn’t be complete without riding Aquatica’s brand new water ride, Ray Rush. This three-part water adventure is truly unique!

There are so many unexpected rides throughout the SeaWorld Parks that you will be in awe of the wow factors and constant journey of discovery.

Meanwhile, young children – particularly those still learning to walk – will have plenty of options at a gentler pace, such as Sesame Street Safari of Fun at Busch Gardens, where there’s the opportunity to get close to much-loved Sesame Street characters, and even join them for lunch* – a very colourful tea party. Or head to Kata’s Kookaburra Cove at Aquatica, with beginners’ body slides and splashtastic rides for the youngest family members.

Once you have experienced a world of thrilling rides, water and land expeditions, take time out on the white sand beach overlooking Aquatica’s side-by-side wave pools, or on the tranquil shores of Serenity Bay at Discovery Cove.
