cOME the next General Election I cannot see the British people accepting an extreme Left-wing administration. Traditionally, the British have always opted for moderation in their governments, whether centre-right or centre-left.

Of course, there will always be a hard core of dedicated extremists, particularly among the young who have no knowledge of Marxist or communist regimes which inevitably end in hyper-inflation and bankruptcy, as in present-day Venezuela.
