Miner lines up £2.7bn funding
POTASH miner Sirius Minerals says it expects commitments from lenders by the end of the year for the next £2.7bn to fund construction of its Yorkshire site.
Work is under way, but bosses upped costs by £450m this month and are in talks with banks, and seeking financial backing from the Government.
Chief executive Chris Fraser said: ‘Const ‘Construction activities at our sites contin continue at pace and significant milest milestones have been achieved in the fir first half of the year.’
