WHO IS BLUES’ LEADING MAN?

-

MAURIZIO SARRI has a decision to make up front. Alvaro Morata or Olivier Giroud? Sarri took Giroud off against West Ham after 65 minutes because the striker was on the periphery. The Frenchman was then left out of the squad for the Carabao Cup tie with Liverpool, leaving Morata to play the full 90 at Anfield. Whoever Sarri decides to go with at Stamford Bridge, he has to get it right. Chelsea cannot rely on Hazard to score super goals and settle games week in, week out. In my opinion, Sarri should make a decision, then stick with it for the foreseeable future. As a substitute, Giroud has scored 19 goals — the second most in Premier League history. Maybe the best solution would be to start Morata, then use Giroud from the bench.
