Hurley and son, the new acting dynasty
SHE has previously described her son as ‘mini-me’.
So it comes as no surprise that Liz Hurley’s 16-year-old son Damian has decided to follow in her footsteps.
Damian, who recently signed a deal with the same modelling agency as his mother, has already begun to make his mark on screen.
In their first photoshoot for the Estee Lauder Companies’ Breast Cancer Campaign, Miss Hurley, 53, praised her son’s talent after he recently appeared in the American drama series The Royals.
‘I was amazed at just how good he was,’ she told The Mail on Sunday’s You magazine. ‘He loves reading scripts, running through everyone’s lines and soaking it all up.
‘The role of Prince Hansel from Liechtenstein [in The Royals] was specially written for him.’ Damian has already written his own scripts and made short films, and has expressed a desire to eventually go to drama school.
He said: ‘I came back as Prince Hansel in season four and had scenes opposite the queen and the rest of the royal family. We were shooting 16-hour days over a swelteringly hot week, with Dame Joan Collins. It was memorable and hilarious.’
In the magazine interview, Miss Hurley also hit back at claims that she used her son to take sexy pictures of her to share with her million Instagram followers, and said the idea that Damian always took bikini pictures of her was ‘nonsense’.
