Mark Selby won a nail-biting snooker final against John Higgins at the China Championship yesterday. The 35-year-old leicester player came through 10-9 against Scotsman Higgins to take the title and £150,000 top prize. Despite building a 5-4 lead in the first session, Higgins could not pull away and the players were never more than a frame apart in the evening. Higgins moved 9-8 up but Selby forced a decider and edged over the line to secure his 15th ranking title.
