Derail HS2 vanity project

Could we possibly now see the demise of the Hs2 rail link (mail)?

Your article says that the Cabinet is split regarding the vanity project that is Hs2. But the £56 billion would be better spent on super-fast broadband or to update existing railways.

Business secretary Greg Clark said that a decision (to build Hs2) had been made and that it’s important to follow through with it. I’d like the Cabinet to man up, cut its losses and cancel this project before more taxpayer money goes to waste.
