MEMBERS FLOCK TO SOHO HOUSE

PRIVATE members club owner Soho House saw revenues jump 23pc to £360.1m last year as it opened sites and added more members.

The group, which has clubs around the world including in London, New York, Malibu, Amsterdam and Barcelona, said the number of paying members increased by 18pc to 71,000 in 2017. It also has 51,000 on the waiting list.

But the business posted annual losses of £60m in 2017, widening slightly from £59m a year earlier, as it continued its expansion.
