KARL PILKINGTON’S comedy is steadily finding deeper ground. In episode three, everyone finds it completely mad that Karl wants to go on holiday by himself, which sounds like a perfectly reasonable idea. He isn’t totally on his own, though — his mouthy inner self

is a near-constant companion.

CHERRY HEALEY is in Brazil, mixing with the contenders of ‘Miss BumBum’ and trying to figure out why they feel the need to compete in such a contest. She learns that views on plastic surgery are quite different in Brazil, and there is a drive to offer it to people on lower incomes.
