It’s a Krul blow as Bryson grabs late leveller
TIM KRUL reacted with fury as Derby salvaged a late draw against Norwich last night. The Dutch goalkeeper pushed team-mate Timm Klose after Martyn Waghorn’s cross found its way to Craig Bryson, who scored an equaliser with his knees in the 87th minute. It had looked like Norwich would earn a fifth successive Championship win through Klose’s second-half header, but Bryson’s late intervention proved decisive. Daniel Farke’s team played with energy and inventiveness but Frank Lampard brought on three substitutes, and one of those, Waghorn, proved pivotal. Norwich took the lead with 20 minutes left when Klose headed in Emi Buendia’s corner. But Derby fought back and deserved the draw. ‘There is a feeling we could have won the game with the momentum at the end but it was a fair result,’ said Lampard. Farke said: ‘It a game of high quality. We are a young team but there is consistency. I am pleased.’
