THIS cheerful new, six-part series — narrated by Julie Walters — goes behind the scenes at The Big Audition Studios, where anyone can audition for a genuine, potentially life-changing job in front of a panel of real employers. This week, the doors open for the first time, and auditionees are invited to try out for three very different vacancies. Sharing the waiting room are dogs hoping for a bite of a modelling contract worth £12,000, people jumping at the chance to sell fitness-related items on a television shopping channel, and men who think they could be Hampton Court’s new Henry VIII.
