Oldham players’ strike threat at unpaid wages

- MIKE KEEGAN

OLDHAM ATHLETIC’S players have threatened to strike over unpaid wages. They refused to head out to the training pitch yesterday after they weren’t paid for September last Friday as promised. Oldham, relegated to League Two last season, declined to comment. They are owned by Dubai-based Moroccan Abdallah Lemsagam who finally took over the club in January.
