Like mother like daughter... Kate and her mini-Moss
SHE has the same high cheekbones and moody pout – now Lila Grace Moss has a big modelling contract to rival her famous mother’s.
Lila, who turned 16 last week, was yesterday named the new face of Marc Jacobs Beauty in her first major campaign.
In the opening shoot, she is seen modelling purple eye make-up and glossy nude lipstick created by make-up artist Diane Kendal.
Lila, the daughter of supermodel Kate and magazine editor Jefferson Hack, has been taken under the wing of her mother’s modelling agency.
She has clearly learned well at her side, her arresting gaze rolling back the years to when Kate, 44, was a rising star of the fashion world.
Revealing the news on Instagram, Mr Jacobs said: ‘When I met Lila Grace for the first time in 2008, I was on a holiday in Ibiza and went to Formentera for the day to visit with her mom Kate Moss and other friends and family.
‘At just six years old, Lila’s strong character, demeanour and great beauty was already very apparent.
‘It is with great pride and a full heart that I share this (first) image from our shoot with the incredible @lilamossin her first ever campaign for @marcbeauty.’
Kate has been friends with Marc Jacobs for years, having also modelled for him in her teens.
Lila told Vogue magazine: ‘I’ve known Marc since I was little and shooting the campaign in New York was a really fun experience. I love his make-up.’
