Stepping back in time, Little Woman Emma
IT IS decades away from the red carpet elegance she is known for.
But Emma Watson looks just the part for her latest role in Little Women.
The British actress, 28, who is playing eldest sister Meg March in the period movie, was seen in a full blue skirt and a patterned jacket during filming in Boston, Massachusetts.
Watson will star alongside Meryl Streep in the latest adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s novel, which is directed by Greta Gerwig and due out next year. The story follows four sisters coming of age after the American Civil War.
Her part had been intended for La La Land actress Emma Stone, according to Variety magazine, but she was busy with another role.
