GRANT STIRLING, 43, from Tunbridge Wells, is a businessman.

GRANT SAYS:

I HAVE NEVER married and have no kids because i’ve just not got that far in a relationship yet.

it was only in my late30s i realised i’d like to settle down and have children, but when i looked around i noticed everyone in my social circle had already done that, so it was hard for me to meet people.

i had a lovely cocktail date with Mariella and we got on well. i’d like to go on another date to see if there is any chemistry between us. She is an attractive woman and i think she ticked all my boxes and mine hers.

MARIELLA SAYS:

I THOUGHT Grant was attractive, although perhaps a bit older than i’d imagined. i do tend to be drawn to older and powerful men as they have that security i want. he’s given up his career to work for an up-and-coming company making cider prosecco — i do like that he’s following his dream, that’s quite sexy, but i work hard and i want an equal. Grant was really lovely — we chatted for three hours and the time flew. he was funny, interesting, a gentleman and very much into fitness. he ticked two-and-a-half of my boxes. i didn’t get that chemistry vibe though.
