Britons who died in Majorca flood horror

-

A RETIRED headmaster and his wife have been named as the Britons who died after being swept away in their taxi during flash floods in Majorca.

Antony Green, 77, and wife Delia, 75, (pictured) had just landed and were being driven to their hotel in Cala Bona when tragedy struck on Tuesday. Their bodies were found in the submerged car. The grandparents – who had three children – were among ten killed in the torrential downpours that saw waves of muddy water up to 13ft high surge through towns and villages.

Neighbours of the Greens in Moffat, Scotland, paid tribute to the ‘lovely couple’ who had been married 55 years.
