Britain’s nastiest traffic warden?
She boasted of making drivers cry and mocked them on Facebook (but parked illegally herself!)
A GLOATING traffic warden faces the sack after mocking the motorists she ticketed on Facebook.
Bodybuilder Zoe Brunt, 44, was suspended after it emerged she had also photographed her own car on double yellow lines with a caption suggesting it was a ‘perk of the job’ to know when her colleagues were off duty.
Brunt works for parking firm APCOA in Lincolnshire, where wardens are dubbed the ‘green goblins’ because they wear bright green jackets.
Other messages on her page boasted about ticketing football fans, a sewer worker and a ‘p**** in a shiny jag’, and threatening to ticket a nurse who had stopped in a disabled bay to buy a sandwich.
She described her ‘ total job satisfaction’ after watching the Jaguar driver almost burst into tears when he realised he had been fined.
In one online post she wrote: ‘ Even though Gainsborough Trinity FC played and won, there was a few disappointed fans [crying emoji] shouldn’t park like pratts [ crying with laughter emoji]. #itwasme.’
On the same day she posted a photo of her red Skoda Citigo parked on yellow lines near the ground, according to The Sun.
After telling 1,100 Facebook friends how she gave a ticket to a drain clearer in June in Mablethorpe, the civil enforcement officer added: ‘CEO 1 Dynorod 0.’
Later she wrote: ‘A classic one today … an off duty nurse pulls up in a disabled bay. I inform her she can’t park there, she says she just wants to pop in to get her lunch.
‘I say OK but I will issue you a PCN [Penalty Charge Notice] if you do not move. She says I hope you never need a nurse.
‘I say I hope you never need a disabled parking space [smiling emoji] good day young lady lol.’ One victim, Shaune Michaels, 31, said: ‘It’s not the fine, it is the fact she takes pleasure in ruining the day for people then brags about it.’
The mother- of- one, who is believed to live in Hull with her boyfriend, updated her Facebook page on Thursday night to announce she had left her job, after news of her posts emerged. She later deleted the page.
Miss Brunt told The Sun the picture of her car illegally parked was posted as a joke. She said she was not mocking drivers on Facebook but did not explain her comments.
An APCOA spokesman said: ‘We have suspended the employee and are conducting an internal investigation. It is disappointing to see this behaviour and comments online.’
The firm won a five-year contract with Lincolnshire County Council in June to process tickets, in support of its parking enforcement contract with the Tory authority.
It is believed Miss Brunt, a former pub bouncer from Essex, joined the firm six months ago.
Last night county councillor Richard Davies, who oversees highways, said: ‘These incidents fall well below the standards we expect from APCOA. I intend to investigate all of these incidents and appropriate action will be taken.’
