CRACKERJACK’S BACK!
Hit kids’ TV show returns 35 years on
TV favourite Crackerjack! is being revived by the BBC – 35 years after the last episode.
The show ran from 1955 until 1984 with hosts including Michael Aspel, Leslie Crowther and Ed ‘Stewpot’ Stewart. It featured comedy sketches and quiz games with Crackerjack! pencils as prizes.
The new ‘interactive’ CBBC version, hosted by Sam Nixon and Mark Rhode, will combine magic and comedy. It will be broadcast in 2020.
