Man in blue! Meet Will Smith’s Genie

WITH ballooning chest, blue complexion and ears that seem to have been borrowed from Spock, he is barely recognisable as the star of the Men In Black films.

But this is a first look at Will Smith playing Genie in Disney’s liveaction musical version of Aladdin.

The remake of the 1992 cartoon (inset) is directed by Guy Ritchie, who said he wanted his genie to have a ‘1970s bodybuilder look’.
