Well that’s a Klassy way to say: I’m expecting again at 40
MYLEENE Klass is pregnant with her third child at the age of 40. She made the announcement on Twitter with a picture of her in her underwear cradling her blooming bump, captioned with a heart emoji.
The musician and broadcaster is expecting the baby with her boyfriend of two years, fashion PR Simon Motson.
It is not known when the child is due. Miss Klass has two children, 11-year-old Ava and seven-year-old Hero, with her ex-husband Graham Quinn.
Celebrity friends including Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon and sports presenter Kirsty Gallacher were quick to congratulate her online, with former Spice Girl Emma Bunton commenting on Instagram: ‘Such wonderful news! So happy for you all.’
Friends have credited Mr Motson with turning Miss Klass into a ‘new woman’ following the bitter break-up of her marriage to Mr Quinn.
She and Mr Quinn began their relationship in 2001 when he became the bodyguard for her pop group Hear’Say. They married in October 2011 but he reportedly walked out on her 4th birthday, after only six months of marriage. They divorced in 201 .
Speaking last month about her divorce, she said: ‘It wasn’t something I wanted to define me, but I do think it changed me, irrevocably, because I think it’s given me such an empathy for what other women go through.’
She also admitted she’d turned to alcohol to cope in the aftermath of her divorce, drinking heavily into the early hours and then waking up five hours later wanting more.
‘I remember waking up and thinking it’s OK to have a drink at 11am, because I hadn’t had a drink in five hours,’ she told the Yahoo podcast White Wine Question Time.
After turning her life around she has appeared in advertising campaigns for Marks & Spencer and currently hosts a show on Smooth Radio.
