At 17st 5lb, fast food fan Trump is officially obese

DONALD Trump has put on 4lb since his medical last year and is now officially obese, it emerged last night.

The White House released results of an annual physical held last week, which disclosed the President’s Body Mass Index is now 30.4. Those with a score above 30 are considered obese.

Mr Trump, pictured – a fan of fast food – now weighs 17st 5lb, or more than 110kg. He is 6ft 3in tall.

Dr Sean Conley, the President’s doctor, said the 72year-old ‘remains in very good health overall’. His resting heart rate is 70 beats a minute and his blood pressure reading is 118 over 80, well within the normal range.

Following a medical a year ago, the President’s former physician Dr Ronny Jackson urged him lose ten to 15lb and do more exercise.

When a reporter asked Dr Jackson how Mr Trump was so healthy, despite eating fast food and not exercising, the examiner replied: ‘He has incredibly good genes.’ During his exam, he received a flu jab and an inoculation to help prevent shingles, a viral infection that causes a painful rash. Mr Trump is to declare a ‘national emergency’ to fund his controversial wall along the Mexico border, it emerged last night. Republican senator Mitch McConnell said he spoke to the President, who indicated that he was prepared to sign a bill to prevent a second federal shutdown but ‘ will be issuing a national emergency declaration at the same time’. The White House confirmed the plan. Declaring an emergency, a rare step, would free Mr Trump to seek to redirect federal funds elsewhere to help pay for a wall.
