Ring or no ring, we are still an item says Chloe’s ‘hot felon’

SHE set tongues wagging when she was spotted out and about without her flashy engagement ring.

But it seems that Topshop heiress Chloe Green, 27, is still preparing to marry ‘hot felon’ Jeremy Meeks – despite a reported bust-up in Dubai after which she ditched her diamond band.

Criminal-turned-model Meeks, 35, has quashed rumours that the pair had called time on their whirlwind romance, claiming that there is no rift.

‘Of course we’re still together,’ he told reporters as he headed out in Beverly Hills with his half-sister Carmella Jesus.

The pair, who have a nine-month-old son Jayden Meeks-Green, are said to have had a very public row at the Cavalli Club in Dubai on February 19.

Meeks stormed out afterwards, leaving his fiancee on her own.

‘These ups and downs are part of every relationship but they are usually settled, particularly when one of the parties is worth so much money. I expect them to sort it out,’ a source told MailOnline.

‘They are spending some time apart to think things through. Chloe was very upset and hurt by what happened in Dubai and is trying to work out what she wants.’

Following the row, Miss Green is believed to have flown back to her £7million penthouse apartment in Monte Carlo while Meeks jetted to Los Angeles.

Fans noticed that something was amiss when Miss Green was spotted without her large diamond ring in a number of her recent Instagram photographs.

The couple met in Cannes in June 2017. When they were first spotted kissing on the deck of a yacht off the Turkish coast the following month, Meeks was still married to his first wife Melissa.

They became engaged last summer but have not announced a wedding date. Meeks swapped a life of crime for fashion after his mugshot drew widespread attention and he was nicknamed the ‘hot felon’.

He had been arrested for possession of firearms and criminal street gang activity.

Miss Green’s father Sir Philip Green, who runs the £3.8billion Arcadia fashion empire that includes Topshop, has suffered another setback. He has been abandoned by his public relations adviser Maitland in the wake of claims he racially and sexually harassed employees and paid millions in hush money in out-of-court settlements.

Tory peer Karren Brady has already quit as non- executive chairman of Taveta Investments, the company behind his business. Sir Philip has repeatedly denied any unlawful sexist or racist behaviour.
