DISCO STANDARD The Story Of I Will Survive, 9pm, BBC4

A DIVE into the history of the disco hit, first released by Gloria Gaynor on October 23, 1978, which has sold 14 million copies. Gaynor returns to the club where it was first played — Studio 54 — and we hear cover versions in Japanese and Hindi.

ZOMBIE THRILLER Curfew, 9pm, Sky One

PART three takes the pace down a notch and flashes back both to the beginning of the outbreak and to the history of Faith and Errol. Both characters have hidden depths, and Errol’s can make him swing from vulnerabil­ity to violence in the space of a sentence. Don’t miss the jaw-dropping climax.

THE AC/DC frontman returns for a new run of his entertaini­ng inside look at the lives of musicians. Here, he talks to Dolly Part onn( pictured pictured with with Johnson) about her long, long career — she released her first single in 1959 — and hears the stories she wants to share from her many tours.

DARK COMEDY After Life, Netflix

THERE’S a reason for all the swearing in Ricky Gervais’s melancholy comedy. He plays a local news journalist whose grief for his dead wife makes him feel as if he can say anything to anyone. This six-parter has a good cast (Diane Morgan, Penelope Wilton, Ashley Jensen) and a steadily deepening script by Gervais, who also directs.

SIXTIES FILM Morgan: A Suitable Case For Treatment, 10pm, Talking Pictures

GLORIOUS cult British comedy — a Cannes winner and Oscar nominee that has fallen into obscurity. David Warner stars as an artist with a wild and well-developed fantasy world, trying to win back his posh wife (Vanessa Redgrave).
