Champagne socialists

I WISh to send my congratulations to Dominic Sandbrook for his article about Corbyn’s ‘ soak the rich’ Bollinger Bolsheviks (Mail).

I myself have written similarly about these nasty, hateful, spiteful, upper-class, well-heeled individuals purporting to be saviours of the working class.

Mr Sandbrook’s final words are the reality. ‘All Animals are equal. But some are more equal than others’ is the very truth. Well done. My thanks to you Dominic — take these charlatans to task! John haRRison, harrogate, n. yorks. DOMInIC SAnDBrOOk’S article is absolutely correct in terms of its content. I was born an only child into a working-class home in the north of england.

My father was a Communist from London. I knew nothing of his political and social views until I studied at a grammar school, when the history we researched at A-level conflicted with his beliefs.

everything Dominic states in his column I could have written myself. I am now 74 and have seen a bit of life.

My father’s appalling views were encapsulated in the terrifying words ‘the end justifies the Means’.

Corbyn has already been shown for the type of man he is with the ‘ stupid woman’ episode in the Commons. Can you imagine him as Prime Minister?
