Pack of four, £1. Per bun: Calories, 181; saturated fat, 1g; protein, 5.2g; fibre, 2.5g; sugar, 11g; salt, 0.33g.

THE apple puree and sultanas in these count as half of one of your five-a- day. These are low in salt and saturated fat, with as much fibre as a large banana.

SAINSBURY’S DELICIOUSLY FREE FROM FRUITY

Pack of four, £2. Per bun: Calories, 195; saturated fat, 0.5g; protein, 2.3g; fibre, 7.1g; sugar. 9.4g; salt, 0.58g.

THESE are towards the higher end of the calorie and salt scale. But they have added psyllium husk powder, bumping up the fibre to nearly a third of your recommended daily intake.
