THE SEAWORLD Parks

Looking for a holiday that ticks every box? From wild rides to wildlife, the SeaWorld Parks in Florida are an adventure-packed haven for all the family

-

WHEN it comes to to-do lists, it doesn’t get much more exciting than when we’re planning our summer holidays. And with a sun-soaked getaway to the SeaWorld Parks in Florida, the opportunities for adventure are endless – no matter how big a kid you are. Whether you want to walk on the wild side with giraffes on the Serengeti Safari at Busch Gardens, dine under the sea (almost) at Shark’s Underwater Grill at SeaWorld, kick back on golden sands at Aquatica or swim with a dolphin at Discovery Cove, the SeaWorld Parks will help you tick things off your holiday bucket list without even trying.

SEAWORLD

WANT a park with something for all the family? Then SeaWorld should be your first stop. Those in search of an adrenaline rush can ride some of the world’s most epic rides, like the record-breaking Infinity Falls – the world’s tallest river rapid drop. And younger members of the family won’t feel left out as they enjoy a colourful parade from the whimsical characters of Sesame Street, before you all set off together on an expedition to meet the locals at Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin.

BUSCH GARDENS

FOR a wonderland of rides and wildlife, head straight to Busch Gardens. Brand new Tigris, Florida’s tallest launch coaster, will provide the thrills as it puts you through your paces with forward and backward launches, a 150-foot surge and inverted roll, all at more than 60mph! When you’ve had enough of being upside down, be wowed by the park’s incredible animals from across the world. Help feed the flamingos, get up close and personal with an aardvark or just wonder at the majesty of the giraffes on the Serengeti Plain.

AQUATICA

WHEN it’s time to cool down, head to Aquatica, where you’ll find more thrill slides than at any other water park in Florida. New for 2019 is KareKare Curl, a vertical wave wall which will have you screaming with delight as you experience its weightless adventure. Or immerse yourself in an underwater world, sliding at speed through a pod of friendly Commerson’s dolphins on Dolphin Plunge, before finally taking it easy in the huge side-by-side wave pools.

DISCOVERY COVE

SPENDING the day at Discovery Cove will allow you and your family to take things at your own pace. Explore the stunning Grand Reef alongside thousands of tropical fish, get playful with otters and marmosets at Freshwater Oasis and have a once-in-a-lifetime experience, swimming with a bottlenose dolphin. All before building a sandcastle (and enjoying a cool beer) at the aptly named Serenity Bay. Discovery Cove is all-inclusive so you enjoy your day knowing that food and drink are all taken care of already.
