THIS new scent from luxury perfumer Miller Harris is the perfect accompaniment to a summer holiday — at home or away.

Brighton Rock (£105 for 100ml, or £75 for 50ml, millerharris.com), inspired by the classic Graham Greene novel of the same name, is an easy-to-wear, light floral fragrance, which evokes memories of British seaside vacations with its candied stick of rock scent, and a seasalt kick.

It blends juicy blood orange with top notes of rose, geranium and iris, heart notes of muguet, jasmine, rose and sandalwood, and a base of heliotrope and musk.
