Advertise makes it a dozen for fab Frankie

- SAM TURNER

Man of the moment Frankie Dettori yesterday celebrated the news that star filly Enable would head to York this month by landing his 12th Group One win of an incredible season in France. The Italian, 48, steered the Martyn Meade-trained advertise to the third top-level win of his career in the Prix Maurice de Gheest at Deauville, beating Kevin Ryan’s Brando into second, and Space Blues for Charlie appleby completed a clean sweep for English raiders. But Dettori felt his mount had more to give. ‘advertise does idle a bit when he hits the front and took off again when he felt Brando coming to him,’ said Dettori. ‘I’m delighted Enable is running at York as it will give racing fans a last chance to see her race in England as she will probably be retired after the arc.’
