Actor Asan N’Jie was yesterday fired from Emmerdale after he reportedly threatened to stab a Hollyoaks star at the tV choice Awards.

the 25- year- old swore and allegedly threw punches at Jamie Lomas, 44, after the ceremony.

ItV announced: ‘Emmerdale suspended Asan N’Jie yesterday pending further investigation into an incident at a central London hotel on Monday night.

‘ItV executives have met with him this morning and as a consequence Asan’s contract has been terminated with immediate effect.’

N’Jie said sorry for his ‘unacceptable’ behaviour at the Hilton Park Lane in Mayfair and said he wanted to learn from his actions.

He said: ‘I sincerely apologise to everybody who has been affected, especially Jamie Lomas, the whole Emmerdale team, our audience, ItV, my family, and the organisers of the tV choice Awards.

‘ I am devastated, accept full responsibility for my actions and I am determined to learn from this.’

N’Jie, who is said to have appeared drunk, shouted: ‘Do you think you are f****** big man? I’m going to f****** kill you. I’m going to f****** knife you,’ according to the Daily Mirror.

the actors had to be separated by security twice. N’Jie, who had been nominated for the best newcomer award, was later removed from the event by security. He was nominated for a storyline in which his character Ellis chapman was stabbed, but lost out to EastEnders’ Kara-Leah Fernandes.

Hollyoaks star Lomas played villain Warren Fox in the channel 4 soap on and off for more than a decade. Danny Dyer won the tV choice Award for best soap actor for the second year running.

A college student was knifed to death in broad daylight a day after having a dream he was going to be killed, his family said yesterday.

Youssef Karim Hassan Al-Bayjani, 17, was stabbed in the stomach and back with a four-inch knife by a gang of youths who chased him down London’s Edgware road on tuesday. He was seen writhing and gasping for air as passers-by and shopkeepers tried to flag down an ambulance.

Youssef was the seventh teenager murdered in London in 30 days and the 105th person murdered in the capital this year.

A relative, who asked not to be named, said: ‘He had a dream on Monday night that he was going to be killed.’

‘I accept full responsibility’
