My fish dinner leapt in the loo!

A HUNGRY man had to be freed by firemen after the fish he was about to prepare for dinner jumped in the toilet – and he got his arm stuck trying to catch it.

When the unnamed man took the live fish from its bucket of water by the loo, it made a bid for freedom into the oldfashioned squat toilet – a hole set into a ceramic platform in the floor.

The man’s entire arm was trapped up to the shoulder, and it took firemen 30 minutes to chisel away at the pipework and surrounding concrete to free him.

A video of the incident at a dormitory in Taijian County, China, was watched more than three million times in a day.

The rescue left the man with a swollen limb. The fish could not be recovered.
