IN THE last episode of Ramsay’s global search for unusual ingredient­s, the chef is in Alaska and hoping for some coffee to help to warm up. Instead, he is presented with a tea made of fungus and honey, which turns out to be delicious. What will he make of braided seal intestines, though?

COMEDY GAMES Taskmaster, 9pm, Dave

TASKMASTER champion Katherine Ryan (pictured) returns to the show to stand in for the sick Katy Wix, but only in the studio — Wix can still be seen in the videos of the challenges. The comedian acts as if she is Wix’s lawyer, describing herself as the ‘Robert Kardashian of today’.

FREEVIEW MOVIE Shot Caller, 9pm, Film4

PRISON is no place for rehabilita­tion in this gritty, well-made thriller. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game Of Thrones) is the decent family man who is sent to prison for causing death by drunk driving. Inside, he undergoes a dramatic transforma­tion — of the kind there’s no coming back from.

NEW TRAVELOGUE Russell Howard & Mum: Globetrott­ers, 10pm, Comedy Central

THE comedian and his plainspeak­ing, ‘pint-sized pixie’ mum embark on a gap yearstyle quest for enlightenm­ent around Asia, starting in India. Of the two of them, Russell is less open to it than Ninette: ‘My favourite temple is Anfield,’ he says, arms crossed.

CLASS DIVIDE Stacey Dooley Sleeps Over, 10pm, W

STACEY is on her best behaviour in the last episode, offering to remove her shoes twice as she arrives at the Arkwrights’ 900-acre Warwickshi­re estate. They’re fun, and she likes them, as a whole — especially the children — despite her dislike of private education and their love of fox hunting.

AUTHOR’S STORY Rudyard Kipling: A Secret Life, 10pm, Sky Arts

KIPLING wrote the Just So Stories with his daughter Josephine in mind; when they both fell sick with pneumonia in 1899 — and only he survived — the grief left the author a ‘sadder and harder man’. This new profile explores how that and other tragedies shaped his work.

INTIMATE and deeply personal comedy drama, written and directed by Simon Amstell (Grandma’s House). Colin Morgan (pictured) stars as a promising film-maker who is struggling with his difficult second project, as well as with his own fragile ego.

HIP-HOP CONTEST Rhythm + Flow, Netflix

NETFLIX enters the world of music competitio­ns with this contest to find the next big hip-hop star. Cardi B is among the judges of a series that will unfold weekly until the final on October 23. The first four episodes, released this week, are the audition stages.
