PERHAPS it was over-excitement at the prospect of scoring his first try at these finals, but wing Hallam Amos made a right mess of this effort. As the Cardiff player sprinted for the corner, he attempted a curious dive. Rather than touch down, he butted the flag, the ball came loose and his big moment was gone. Even referee Angus Gardner was seen laughing.
