IF YOU were looking to cast someone to play the young Alan A Sugar in a film about a the billionaire businessman’s life, you couldn’t do much better than Thomas Skinner (pictured). The straight-talking pillow salesman describes himself as a ‘full-time geeza’ and loves to clinch a deal, much like Sugar himself. This week, he rises to the challenge of creating a toy that will appeal to six- to eight-year-olds, which his team then have to sell to some of the biggest names in the toy industry. But will Tommy the talking turtle prove a hit? Tom Allen will be talking to the evicted candidate straight after in The Apprentice: You’re Fired (10pm, BBC2).
