IT’S that time of year again when the country goes bonkers. Over 20 years, we’ve endured halloween trick-ortreating imported from the U.S.

On October 31 there will be a knock on the front door every five minutes by children asking for treats. Can’t their parents go to the shops and buy them sweets instead of taking them around the streets dressed to scare and teaching them how to beg?
